Welcome to The Cosmedic Coach, founded and managed by Antonia Mariconda. Antonia graduated in Media from London University and subsequently completed an internship at CNN London, within the media and public relations department, she then went on to study psychology and counselling in later years, achieving a Diploma. Antonia is now currently studying an LLB Law Degree, with a special interest in medical negligence.
During her career which spans two decades, Antonia first started her profession as a freelance writer and editor, she rapidly achieved recognition as a leading authority and influencer in beauty, anti-ageing, and cosmetic procedures. Regularly quoted in press and media such as Top Sante, Elle, Vogue, and newspapers such as The Evening Standard, Daily Mail, The Metro, and The Times. Antonia’s name and face are now a familiar and regular staple in the world of Beauty and Aesthetics.
As an Author of four published consumer books on the subject of cosmetic surgery, and wellness, Antonia has continued to write throughout her career for both consumer and commercial projects ranging from articles, blogs, ebooks, research for TV programmes and much more, including ghost writing several technical books world wide for prominent medical and cosmetic figures and experts. Her popular consumer blog which she wrote from 2010 to 2015, won ‘blogger of the year’ at The My Face My Body Awards in London.
Asides from print media, Antonia has plenty of experience also in Radio and TV broadcasting, having produced and presented her own TV show on SKY TV Fitness Channel (FAB) for three years.
Tirelessly devoted to her career and industry, Antonia has spearheaded a nationally renouned consumer campaign called Safety in Beauty, and is the founder of The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards, which have run successfully for 10 years.
Antonia has worked at government level to shape and influence a safer pathway for the consumer and to implement tighter regulation in the UK, her efforts have been well documented in national press and media, and have culminated with a meeting with the Prime Minister, Theresa May in 2018.
Today, Antonia works with an array of beauty, aesthetic and cosmetic professionals, brands and organisations, both in the UK and internationally; creating, shaping, and implementing successful pathways with undeniable results.
