I attended the clothing launch of C4’s reality TV star Made in Chelsea: Millie Mackintosh, Millie Mackintosh is no stranger to the fashion and beauty industry, having modeled for fashion labels such as Lipsy and jewellery treasure trove Claire’s Accessories, Millie is a regular on the front rows of London Fashion Week.

So it made sense that finally the stylish Made in Chelsea socialite and business woman has released her very own clothing line.

‘I have been working on it for eight months.’ Says Millie, ‘Usually designers take years before they launch a collection but I wanted to create a capsule line. Originally I only wanted to do 20 pieces but we have ended up with 40,  It has quite a boho and vintage style, ‘I wanted it to be quite young and fun’.

I asked Millie, what her favourite piece was and she replied ‘gosh, that’s hard, I have so many, I created my range based on things I would have wanted to wear or have in my wardrobe, so I love them all’

The collection was available to view at the glamorous launch party yesterday which was attended by celebrities such as Kelly Hoppen, Jade Green, and Rosie Fortescu.

Mark Hill Hair, and Millies Lashes were also present to support the event.

I personally feel that the clothing collection has a wonderful look and feel to it, as a launch collection there wasn’t much I would not have chosen or have worn myself, I particularly liked the tweed style Chanel (esque) shorts and jacket set, and a patterned dress that was just so adorable.

I’m wishing Millie all the best and I am sure she will have an excellent future in fashion. I’ll certainly be investing in a piece or two, ……or six.
