COACH BLOG: News Update; The Food and Drug Administration in America have now approved Botox to treat crow’s feet and wrinkles around the eye area. Previously it had not been approved for use around this area and only the forehead, although it was reported that a number of practitioners had been using it around the eye area for some time.

Scott W Whitcup, Executive Vice President for Research and Development at Botox manufacturer Allergan stated that for use to treat crow’s feet and frown lines between the brows Botox is the sole product approved. He also added how pleased he was to gain this approval from the FDA.

To achieve this result Allergan completed a study with participants using Botox and finding that it greatly reduced crow’s feet around the eyes.
