Magnifibres natural brush-on false lashes

I tried these over the last few days, am I missing something here? because I just don’t believe this tube of ‘captivating eye lashes’ as the brand claims they are, live up to all the marketing hype.

This product is pretty similar to applying mascara in the sense that you dip a brush in a pot and apply to your lashes so I agree with the claim that there is ‘no glue, no mess’ but for the rest I found them to be a pretty epic fail.

The application of  the product is nauseatingly annoying and time consuming, for the same time it takes to apply this product you could (if you are one to suffer from impatience like me) find yourself reaching for the glue and a set of false eyelashes.

How to use:

Step 1:  Your apply your own mascara as usual and then immediately move onto step2 below.

Step 2: Apply Magnifibres onto your lashes while  your freshly applied mascara is still wet, using the same technique as if you were applying mascara.

Step 3: You wait 30-60 seconds so the Magnifibres can stick to your lashes, then you apply a second coat of your usual mascara to cover the white fibres.

I did all of the 3 steps above, but I did not find the Magnifibres extended my lashes at all, in fact I found them to be rather annoying bits of fluff stuck to my lashes, which actually irritated me to distraction as I find the idea of fluff bizarre, my mascara no longer sat cleanly and smooth after applying the Magnifibres, instead my lashes and mascara looked clumpy and spider like. I’d rather in invest in a fantastic mascara.

You may also wish to note that at any given time the ‘bits of fluff’ could dislodge and come away, so you’re potentially back to square one, a lot of fiddling for nothing, actually a lot of fiddling for the principle sum of £20.00

Magnifibres natural brush-on false lashes might be appealing to a lot of women, there are a lot of blog posts on the internet hailing them as ‘awesome’, therefore I will not rule out the fact that the product certainly may work for some women, but as far as I was concerned they did nothing for me at all.
