Earlier this month I was quoted in The Daily Mail Newspaper for a feature on nail treatments, I shared my story about how the nails I once loved and was so proud of had brutally arrived at the rather sorry and unsightly state they were in (see photo’s above). In a bid to bring my nails back to some kind of normality and health, I set about researching 3 of the best nail strengthening products in the beauty industry, products designed to give your tired, stressed and over processed nails some well earned TLC. How to use:

Remove polish or any oily film and clean nails thoroughly. Brush on to the free edge of the nails. Leave on for one minute to set. Apply twice a week  until your nails have become healthy and strong, then decrease usage to two to three times per month if needed.

Dr. Lewins Renunail

 How to use

Instructions by Dr. Lewinns team: On the first day of the treatment apply two coats of RenuNail Nail Strengthener to clean nails, avoiding the cuticle area. Apply one further coat every day for the next five days. On the seventh day remove with nail polish remover and repeat the programme for the next three weeks.

At the end of the 4 weeks it is advised that you, stop using the RenuNail Nail Strengthener, and move onto RenuNail Sensitive. Too much protein build up will have a negative effect on your nails so it is important to rest for two weeks after the four week programme. At the end of the two weeks you can return to the original Nail Strengthener.
