More than 1 year on since the PiP Breast Implant Scandal emerged in the UK, the struggle and fight to get to the truth still continues. Several campaign groups emerged at the height of the well publicised health fraud scandal, each working hard in their unique efforts to bring justice to thousands of women affected in the UK, and across the globe.

As the battle rages on, I will be covering a series of blogs that brings attention to the hard working efforts of the dedicated campaigners fighting for health fraud justice, the subject is still alive and kicking and although media coverage has temporarily subsided, we must not let the subject ever be forgotten, so help keep it alive with your support.

The PiP Implants Scotland Campaign was set up for women affected by PiP implants, this Scottish campaign is run by a strong determined but tight knit group of administrative members who will not back down in the challenging quest to reveal the truth behind the toxic implants,  it is is their intention and pledge to reveal the real impact to over 50,000 women’s health in the UK alone.

This is a campaign group set up by real women like you and I, women who are not afraid to voice the reasons behind their fervent campaign, on their official website they proudly declare “Like you, we were shocked and scared by the news that our breast implants might be faulty, and our health might be in danger. Like you, we were unsure what we should do next. And like you, we wanted to make sure that this could never happen again”.

Helped by Thompsons Solicitors,  the groups states that “we are fighting for justice for Scottish PIP victims and campaigning for a public inquiry into the scandal”.

However the group also offers invaluable support to women going through the same trauma as each other. It’s impressive that a self-founded campaign has put together a decent website at their own expense, and published what I feel is some very useful information which is updated not only on-line but also on social media channels such as their Facebook group and also on Twitter.

I support all PIP campaigns and efforts to bring awareness to health fraud on such a mass scale, I cannot help but salute the noble efforts of this campaign and it is a pleasure to retweet their efforts on Twitter, which is a simple pledge I uphold in helping the  PiP Implants effort collectively. Bravehearts indeed.
