HealGel for Scars

A question I get asked a lot on twitter is what products do I recommend for scar healing?, The latest I have personally used myself within the last 12 months for a cosmetic surgery procedure I underwent last year was HealGel.

There are several products in the range, I used the HealGel Intensive as it was an intensive deep scar I was nursing, and I found that very quickly in a short space of time the intense redness of the scar proceeded to diminish quite fast. It was easy to use, not greasy and very lightweight.

HealGel was designed by a team of the world leading plastic surgeons and a renowned dermatological biochemist. These aesthetic experts pooled their cutting edge research and experience to provide this product, I also trusted the product for this reason, after all if world class leaders of aesthetic and cosmetic artistry are going to put their reputations and neck on the line to prove it’s worth, then I am willing to invest in the product.

The magic is all in the liposomes containing the key ingredients, these deliver predictably to the depth of the skin where they are needed most.

HealGel Intensive contains silicone, scientifically proven to be the optimal healing ingredient for scar treatment. This forms a matrix beneath which active ingredients including Madecassoside and Arnica, packed in a liposomal system, target the deeper layers of the skin where they are needed most. HealGel Intensive contains several powerful peptides to increase collagen production, and decrease fine lines, swelling and puffiness. It also contains anti-inflammatory actives to encourage a clear, healthy looking complexion.

The five magic elements (or the science bit)

Arnica Liposome is used as a natural skin stimulant to help strengthen the capillaries and reduce puffiness and discolouration.

Biodynes contain metabolic stimulating substances to increase cell respiration and promote cellular renewal.

Glistin P4 is a neuropeptide used to defend cells from aggressors such as free radicals.

Haloxyl, is a tetrapeptide designed for the reduction of swelling and puffiness under the eyes. It strongly increases the expression of enzymes involved in the clearing of degraded haemoglobin. It is easily absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin’s structure to encourage cellular boosting mechanisms associated with repair. This leads to a clear, healthy looking complexion.

Madecassoside is extracted from the plant Centella Asiatica, the most potent soothing active ingredient to reduce irritation, sensitivity and redness. It is widely regarded for its healing and anti-aging properties.

It’s a very good product worthy of it’s price £48 (30ml), I used it religiously as advised and saw some good results. I am not willing to post the pictures on here as they are quite private and even though I usually bare all in the name of my art, I am not willing to bare that much, but take my word for it. It’s VERY good stuff.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog
that’s equally educative and engaging, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.

The problem is an issue that not enough people are speaking intelligently
about. I’m very happy I came across this in my hunt for something regarding this.
