It’s always important to use an effective cleanser to rid the skin of dirt, grime and dead cells and to keep skin healthy. I was keen to try out the reasonably priced Jan Marini C-Esta Cleansing Gel (RRP £44) which is suitable for all skin types.
Key ingredients include Vitamin C, plant extracts, and antioxidants that, it is claimed, will result in a notably ‘softer, smoother and more refined skin texture’. The California based company also claim that the cleanser makes the skin more receptive to moisturisers, serums etc that are applied subsequently.
The product stands out because of the rich foam it produces, and it certainly did remove dead skin cells and left my skin brighter and more radiant than previously. Despite its effectiveness, the gel really did seem to be gentle, and because it’s so concentrated you only need a tiny amount so a bottle will last and last. It is suitable for removing eye make up too, so all in all, a great value for money product. I’d suggest that it’s suitable for everyone, even those with very sensitive skins, but it is worth noting that the product does contain sulphates so anyone who is known to react to those may be better steering clear.
