Beauty brand bareMinerals has announced the launch of Complexion Rescue, a new SPF30 tinted hydrating gel cream for the face. Created by the brand after being disappointed with the moisture level of existing tinted moisturisers on the market, this formula contains encapsulating hydrating humectants and pigment with mineral-infused water to help lock in moisture upon contact with skin for instant hydration and rapid absorption. The best of a BB, a CC and a tinted moisturiser, it takes an inside out approach, challenging the traditional complexion emulsions which feature water on the inside and oil on the outside. Complexion Rescue contains squalene at the core, is surrounded by mineral-infused water and combines marine botanicals to refuel thirsty skin. Calcium and magnesium help replenish skin, while potassium promotes skin’s moisture balance. Testing this product showed that after one week there was a 215% increase in hydration and after week four it rose to 287%, increasing almost three times. The mineral-based Complexion Rescue is formulated without oil or fragrance, is silicone and paraben free, and helps protect against damaging environmental stressors and damaging UV rays. Available in 10 shades, it provides sheer to medium coverage and enables skin to appear even-toned and dewy. This multi-tasker has a cooling sensation when applied by either fingertips or the new dual fiber Smoothing Face Brush, which is launching to work alongside the product.

Diana Vreeland Parfums, the fragrance and beauty collection inspired by the personality of the former editor-in-chief of Vogue, has announced the launch of its latest fragrance, Smashingly Brilliant. Exclusively available at Selfridges, the latest addition to the line has been created by Clement Gavarry and inspired by Diana’s love for the island of Capri. The fragrance combines zesty citrus notes with a deep textured background. Lemon and Calabrian bergamot oils are enhanced with notes of verbena, basil and juniper berries; while a heart of geranium lemon living creates a bridge to the dry down of suede accord and enveloping woods.

Glossybox has announced the launch of its LOVE box for Valentine’s Day. In anticipation of the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film screening, the brand has included the Fifty Shades of Grey mineral eye shadow from US colour brand Marsk, and a coral lip balm from Royal Apothic. To celebrate its fifteenth year as Official Beauty Partner for the BAFTA’s, Lancôme has announced the launch of its pop-up Style Suite at Selfridges, London. Modelled on its Style Suite at The Savoy, the pop-up will be available from 5-11 February and will provide an exclusive Red Carpet insight, which has never been showcased before. Over the six days, the brand will provide a selection of beauty experiences, including: a one-to-one BAFTA makeover with complimentary blow dry, express mini manicures and a private screening of a BAFTA nominated film. The suite will also showcase the BAFTA Nominee goody bag. Additionally, the band has announced the launch of two new Limited Edition L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks, exclusive to Selfridges nationwide. Fragrance house Yardley London has announced the launch of two new male and female fragrances inspired by the orient. Floriental fragrance Kiri for women contains top notes of cardamom guatemala, mandarin, clove leaf and plum; and heart notes of rose, geranium, ylang and orris; while heliotrope, cashmeran, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla and tonka bean are at the base. Men’s woody oriental fragrance Ink was developed by perfumer Jean-Charles Niel and contains top notes of bergamot, rosemary, wormwood and black pepper; middle notes of cardamom, plum, cedarwood and sandalwood; while vetiver, benzoin, amber and leather are at the base. Additionally, the brand’s Classic floral fragrance collection, which includes English Lavender, English Rose, Lily of the Valley and April Violets (EDT), has relaunched with new packaging and formulations, moving away from single note scents to create perfumes with a bouquet of aromas. The range also now offers a Moisturising Body Lotion, Moisturising Body Wash, Deodorising Body Fragrance, Perfumed Talc and Luxury Soap, alongside all scents.

Beauty brand L’Occitane has announced the launch of its limited edition Fleurs de Cerisier L’eau collection. The scent comprises top notes of lemon, blackcurrant and watermelon; and heart notes of cherry blossoms, violet and rose before leading to a subtle musky, woody trail. The collection comprises Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette (50ml), Fragrance Touch roll-on Shower Milk, Moisturising Milk and Hand Cream.

Beauty brand Sisley has announced the launch of several new products to its collection. The new Intensive Dark Spot Corrector has been created with targeted application that provides a comprhensive lightening, exfoliating and soothing action, which is suitable for all women, all ages and all skin tones. The product reduces the size and intensity of dark spot, erases dark spots on the skin’s surface and targets the spots caused by skin imperfections. Key ingredients include: vitamin E acetate, vitamin C, rhubarb and babary fig blossom extracts, alpha-bisabolol and salicyclic acid, as well as a selection of essential oils. Phyto 4 Ombres are two new graphic and enigmatic checkerboard palettes that offer four coordinated eyeshadow shades that blend pigments and light to form an ethereal texture. Translucent and non-powdery, the new texture comprises a bouquet of green tea, camellia and white lilly, and offers a variety of finishes: radiant matt, metallic and satin. The Dream palette features a harmony of nude tones, while The Mystery palette offers a harmony of smoky tones.
