CCR Expo launched last year 2013 succcessfully, the exhibition and conference is designed to bring the cosmetic surgery and non surgical world together in one event. From “Scalpel to Syringe” as their marketing contents accurately claim, this event provides the visitor and delegate with the latest cutting edge education and development that range from facelifts to fat freezing and everything in between.
The event is a busy hub of various business presentations and seminars to hands-on learning workshops; you’ll also see lots of live demonstrations and heated debates taking place as you walk the expansive grounds of Olympia Exhibition Hall.
I was invited to give a talk on how the industry could harness the power of beauty bloggers to help develop their business and brand.
The talk seemed to be very well received (thankfully) and I am grateful to the people that came to listen.
In an arena packed with formal and clinical talks and lectures, I found it quite refreshing as did the audience to explore something slightly different in the realms of social media marketing, let’s face it, your presence on-line is pretty important if you are a cosmetic, aesthetic clinic or brand.
I won’t stop ‘banging on’ about how brilliant beauty bloggers are and what an asset they are driving the promotions of beauty brands and profiles. They are a true credit to the industry. There are some amazing well established and respected beauty bloggers out there, the trouble is, if you are a cosmetic or aesthetic professional, it can be quite hard navigating the saturated beauty blogger world, so that’s why my talk can help professionals tap into influential beauty bloggers and find out how to develop meaningful professional relationships and networks.
I caught up with some lovely familiar faces and used the opportunity of my visit to check out some of the developments from my favourite brands such as Heliocare, Exuviance, Neostrata just to name a few.
Looking forward to CCR Expo 2015, this is how we felt at the end of a busy event, yes that’s me collapsed on the floor too! *Photo courtesy of Aesthetic Source.
