LightStim for younger skin?

I have been testing a device called LightStim for around 6 weeks now, and although the trial time isn’t lengthy I’m pleased to report the results are pretty good so far.

The set I reviewed included the LightStim for Wrinkles device, this is a hand held device which emits LED light, the point is that with regular use, you should see a change in your skin, this is achieved in tandem with the LightStim Collage Peptide Serum which helps speed up the anti-ageing effect of the beauty device. Both items come with a stylish travel bag so that you can take both the device and the serum with you wherever you go.

So how does the LightStim device work?

LightStim has taken NASA’s LED technology to a new level, developing Multi-Wave™ Technology - a unique selling point that I note no other brand is currently offering - to simultaneously emit multiple wavelengths (colours) of light. These wavelengths of light work together to give your skin the boost it needs for a more radiant and youthful appearance.

LightStim allows you to gradually and naturally restore the collagen and elastin levels in the skin, leaving the epidermis looking more plump and youthful. LightStim treatments work in harmony with the body. Although in my opinion you need to continually use the device to see long lasting effects, by this I mean two to three times per week. I don’t think this device delivers the same powerful results on professional in-clinic powerful devices, but then again not all of us have the time, budget or inclination to sign up to those kind of budget consuming choices.

LightStim has been approved by the FDA, the US organisation that ensures medical devices are safe to use and deliver effective results. The FDA clinical trial showed a significant improvement in the skin of 100% of all participants (40 in total) in an eight week period.

The manufacturers of the device are confident in their claims that you can unlock the anti-ageing powers of this device by using it daily for at least eight weeks to see visible results. Just switch the device on, sit back whilst watching TV or reading a book and enjoy the soothing warmth while holding the light gently touching the skin for three minutes, gradually covering the entire face. You can even treat the sensitive area around the eyes, lips, décolleté, neck, and hands. This is not a device for the impatient, this takes time to use so be aware.

I liked it, because it was so simple to use, and delivered a small result, that although not miraculous and life changing, it still was natural and comforting given that the warmth and light has a positive effect on your wellbeing on its own, but throw in the ability to plump out a few wrinkles too and voila! you have a recipe for success.
